Los Huracanes

loshuracanes9bestThe group Los Huracanes was formed in 1972, and  in that epocha attained category A at the Festival of Cultural Workers. They are dedicated to the music of the 60s and play at various carnivals, festivals and communal parties around the province.  Los Huracanes are very popular with the middle age set as their nostalgic music makes them feel 16 again.  Not only the older folks, but the young ones like their bouncy style.  "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" (Beatles) and "Diana" by Paul Anka are the crowd’s favourites.  You can normally find them in the Theatre Salon of Baracoa.
