Recicla-G was formed in 2006 with idea of combining Latin and Caribbean rhythms with the modern day sounds of rock, pop, and hip-hop.   The result is a distinctively Cuban style fusion.

 
Recicla-G write a lot of their own material. The group has participated in various national festivals, the most important of which was the Jose Marti Brigade.  They have also performed in the following festivals:

1. Festival of the Farola

2. The Guantanameran

3. Caribbean Festivals in Santiago and Holguin

In Baracoa, they have performed for the Patio of Rosendo at the Casa Cultura, and the local Performing Arts Theatre.   Recicla-G are in the process of creating their first CD.

Members of the group are: David Gonzalez Suarez, director and lead singer.  Ruben Dario Matos, lead guitar and singer, Solemer Baratutus, second guitar,  Roilan Leyva, percussion, and Jordis Toirac on the bass.
